MAC Creme de Nude vs. Revlon ColorStay Soft Nude 70
They both look similar in the tube as you can tell from the above picture. I'm not sure the picture is picking it up but the Revlon is a little more orange in the tube. Or should I say more on the orange side.
The MAC Creme de Nude is swatched on the right side in both photos. When it is swatched the colour is more opaque. It is a more muted neutral peach nude and leans more this way.
Revlon's Colorburst in Soft Nude is a neutral beige peach nude but it has a little more of an orange undertone to it that makes it a little more darker nude in comparison. This is swatched on the left. the organ undertone is intensified with every swatch and layer added to make the evenness of the colour the same.

Texture/ Formula:
In terms of opaqueness and texture they are both on par with each other giving a nice sheen finish to the lips. However I do feel as though the Revlon is a little on the drying side.
Results:
Look to be honest I think that it's worth forking out and spending the extra $$ on the MAC lipstick. The colour of this lipstick is the only reason why. The undertone is more neutral so it suits more skin tones, I actually don't think the orange undertone looks good on anyone. It's very unflattering and the drying formula of the Revlon lipstick is just not worth buying it just cause it's cheaper and more readily available.
