Sally Hansen Gel Shine 3D Top Coat

Image
Packaging: Fat square silver mirrored glass bottle with a shiny wand. The brush applicator is typical length and shape. There is a pink white text sticker on the front. Smell/Taste: Nail Polish. Colour: Clear. Formula/ Texture: This is thick and goopy. It applies easily with a thicker amount performing better results. This dries in 1 min and vastly extends the wear & chip resistance of my manicure by 2 days! This brings a total wear time to 4 days. It intends to give the nails that 3D plump and voluminous look typical of a proper gel manicure but without the stress that gives your nails. This is tested through and washing, cooking, typing, moving objects just a lot of general use of my hands as a testament to how amazing this works. Seriously this top coat adds such a high shine to any nail polish whilst holding up pretty well. This is the top coat I us when I want my nails to be strong for 3-4 days but don't really care if chipping happens ...

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs

Packaging: Brown aresol metal can with a shiny silver cap. It has a wide nozzle that emits a strong/faint/narrow/wide spray. I like how you can determine how much product is left based on the weight of the can. If you don't press hard enough on the nozzle the product fumbles out and gets over the nozzle which doesn't affect the opening but looks messy. Smell: None. Colour: Medium Glow - light/ medium skin tones. Available in 5 shades. Formula/ Texture: This is a runny liquid. It is lightweight and undetectable on the skin. It's best applied and blended in immediately using the fingers, working in small areas. Otherwise I have found it to stain where it lands, in large amounts if not enough pressure is applied to the nozzle. The thing I love about this is that once it sets you are ready to dress. I guess this is one way its different from generic tan. The quick drying means you can use it all over the body. I haven't had any irritati...

Sally Hansen Pumice Foot Polish

Image
Packaging: Tall thin organe & white plastic squeeze tube. The opening is standard size and enough product comes out. Smell: Lavender, which isn't overpowering. Colour: White Texture/ Formula: Thickish cream with fine grains. I feel as though there is moisturising ingredients such as tea tree oil thats helps deodorize the feet leaving this beautiful refreshed smell. I think this smell subconsciously makes the feet relax and muscles loosen up. It's easy to apply from the tube an remove with warm water. I haven't had an irritation or itchiness. This foot scrub is a very gentle and fine granules. If you have sensitive feet or don't have course skin then this is perfect. For me personally it is a gentle foot scrub. If you prefer something a little more intense then skip this. Good th...

Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips

Image
I brought these nail strips right when they first came out and all the talk and hype started with them. Packaging: Each set comes with 16 nail polish strips in various sizes and with multiples (see above), cuticle stick, mini file & buffer as well as instructions. The actual nail strips them selves come packaged in these tight sealed packs, that I feel dry out and loose their stickiness once they are opened so when you go to use the left overs as a accent nail and such they adhesive isn't as strong as just brought which does seem like a little bit of a waste. The nail sticker has the backing, the nail colour and a clear film. I felt as though each of the varying sizes fitted well against the shape of my nails which made the look of the strips more realistic of a coat of polish. The strips themselves are flexible and thin which makes it easier to apply and buff off. Colour: 280 Blue Ice - cool tone...

Sally Hansen Fast & Gentle Polish Remover

Packaging: This nail polish remover comes in a blue bottle. The container is a frosted plastic and the blue liquid can be seen through as well as how much product is left. Smell: Like normal nail polish remover, that potent alcohol aroma. Colour: Blue, but this doesn't stain the natural nail though or affect the polish remover. Texture/ Formula: This remover is actually acetone free so it won't damage the nail when you use it. It actually contains vitamins & chamomile that have nourishing properties. This formula helps promote strong, healthy-looking nails & cuticles. I do think that this works well. My nails don't seem as dry or as badly stripped after I've used the remover, though I do feel as though the polish is a little overpriced for the smallish looking and feeling bottle. I'm sure you can get a larger quantity for a cheaper price? FYI it is safe for art...
