Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs
Packaging:
Brown aresol metal can with a shiny silver cap. It has a wide nozzle that emits a strong/faint/narrow/wide spray. I like how you can determine how much product is left based on the weight of the can. If you don't press hard enough on the nozzle the product fumbles out and gets over the nozzle which doesn't affect the opening but looks messy.
Smell:
None.
Colour:
Medium Glow - light/ medium skin tones. Available in 5 shades.
Formula/ Texture:
This is a runny liquid. It is lightweight and undetectable on the skin. It's best applied and blended in immediately using the fingers, working in small areas. Otherwise I have found it to stain where it lands, in large amounts if not enough pressure is applied to the nozzle.
The thing I love about this is that once it sets you are ready to dress. I guess this is one way its different from generic tan. The quick drying means you can use it all over the body. I haven't had any irritations or product transfer using this. The other difference about this product is that it is like foundation for your legs, after 2 soapy washes, the product is removed. It's not formulated for long wear.
In saying this it does wear off evenly and will cling to dry patches of skin, like generic tan liquids will do. The finish on this is natural, where there is some sheen to the skin and I can see faint shimmer when looking at my skin unclose. I feel like this hints at healthy looking legs.
I love the colour of this as it matches the more sun exposed areas of my body perfectly. It does cover faint scars, freckles and small veins. I don't have any "imperfections" more pigmented to cover so I can't speak as to how this'll cover deep dark veins.
The formula is said to stimulate mircocirculation in the legs to promote firmer looking legs which honestly I don't see. I just see the shimmer.
This is the perfect solution for tan touchups or instant colour for last minute night out plans. I will defiantly be buying this again for those occasions where I don't want to do a full body tan and want something to last a few days not weeks.
