GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment
Packaging:
Heavy, palm sized smooth round metal jar with a plastic screw on lid. The jar has a blue and silver/ grey colour scheme. The lid features a silver star to match the silver embellishments. There is a product stopper that lifts out which can be either thrown away or kept. It feels considerably heavy and wide with not a lot of packaging wastage when you see how much product it holds. This could have something to do with keeping the natural ingredients/ acids fresh.
It comes in this round shaped white cardboard box. The lid is a flap that lifts up, revealing the jar in a cradle from the cardboard, covered by another 'Hello Sexy' flap. I thought this was a unique way to present the jar and it was nice to have my sexiness reaffirmed!
This is a little larger jar size then the white supreme treatment mask.

Smell/Taste:
Caramel cookie dough!
Colour:
Golden brown.
Formula/ Texture:
This is a thin and smooth cream. It's very easy to apply using your fingers. A little bit of this treatment is needed and a thin layer is very sufficient which helps justify the price. It is easy to remove excess product with a tissue.
The suggested way to use this is either as an intense moisturiser where you leave it on for 20 minutes, redoing any excess product with a tissue. The other way is an a overnight treatment mask where a thicker layer is applied. Using it this way does leave a slight tackiness feel but not sticky. There's no transferring onto a pillow. In the morning, skin is plump, looks smooth and feels soft. I have no residue left on the skin nor that I can feel when I wash my face.
I love the versatility of this treatment! The result depends on how you use it and what your skin needs and helps break down the price.
The formula is quite unique with three levels of hydration combined with the ground olive leaf (antioxidant/absorbance properties). No parabens, sulphates or phthalates in this either.
* Short term hydration uses coconut oil, ginger root and orange blossom honey which aid in restoring the skin. Orange blossom honey boost radiance, coconut oil conditions and ginger root detoxifies and calms the skin.
* Mid term hydration uses botanimoist, hydra clay and oat beta glucan which aid in water retention. This is both on the surface of the skin and deep into the pores. This is why the skin will have different and more smoother texture.
* Long term hydration uses hyaluronic acid and citric acid which aid in replenishing the skin. Moisture is retained and a barrier formed for long lasting hydration. This is why the skin will look supple and plump as it's more moisturised.
I love the results I get from this and I have combination skin. Softer feeling skin, looks plump and smoother in tone. Expensive -yes, but it's defiantly for all skin types, genders and quite perfect for warmer weather and on the go travel!! Such a versatile product.
