Project 10 Pan | August

Very similar to 'Products I'm Using Up' tags, I wanted to show what are the products that I am aiming to use up completely. Not just touch pan and be done, but so there is literally nothing but the packing left.

I guess I'm doing this to be somewhat accountable for my determination. While I'm not going to set a time limit on this, I am going to do a monthly update to show my progress.

1. NARS Lipgloss 'Turkish Delight'

This is one of the oldest, if not oldest lip glosses I own. I can smell it's starting to turn bad but there is a tiny bit left I want to try and use up before it goes completely bad.

2. Benefit sample Hoola Bronzer

I hit pan on this in the last month and I am determined to chuck this little metal square in the bin!!

3. Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit

The concealer breaks me out but has good coverage so I have to us sit sparingly. The powder I think is pretty average and am using it to set my makeup in an effort to get some use out of it. I do have other face powders I prefer to use.

4. NARS Blush 'Orgasm'

This is the oldest blush I have and only blush from NARS. I have hit pan a few months ago and stored it way in an effort to save it. I realised that I'm being silly as once this is finished I can go buy anther one!

5. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil 'Milk'

I have had this pencil shade for at least 2 years. I've had this very stubby amount for the last 8mths. I feel like it tugs on my eyes a bit when I use it so I am going to have to find a way to use it up.

6. Maybelline Gel Eyeliner

I picked this up to try my hand at gel eyeliner. I've used ¾ but struggle to maintain a consistent line and easy application method. I do find it to smudge on me.

7. MAC Lipglass 'Pink Poodle'

This would be the second most oldest gloss in my collection. I stopped using this in an effort to save it but I've realised that I don't like MAC's sticky formula as it tends to get everywhere. Im sure with the brands on offer I can find a vibrant pink that isn't sticky.

8. NARS Matte Lip Pencil 'Sex Machine' & 'Never Say Never'

I have two shades of this finish. They are ok colours but are honestly too subtle and I don't gravitate towards them. The lighter pink shade goes well with NARS Turkish Delight and the deeper pink with MAC's Pink Poodle. So this will be my lip combo for the next month at least.

9. Smashbox O Glow Cheek Gel

This is the only cream/ gel check product I own. I wanted to branch out and see if the use of these products did increase the longevity of my makeup and would be a useful additional to my routine. I haven't used this much and I've had it for over a year now so I want to use it up and be done with it.

Hopefully I don't get too sick and tired of using the same products everyday. Some of these are on their last leg, while others still have some life in them. Stay tuned to see how I go!
