Packaging: Thick shiny plastic tube with cap. Each shade has it's corresponding colour as the tube colour with a silver end. In this case it's a light mauve pink with silver text. The bottom of the tube winds the chubby pencil up/down. The end does come softly pointed but does wear down flatter. Smell: Peppermint which I don't particularly like as it reminds me a lot of the strong after dinner chocolate mints. I bring you this somewhat mid week post to bring you all exciting news - they are finally here!! I'm sure you've seen these lacquer and matte balm stains from American blogs and videos on YouTube. Unlike most products these are now being sold in Australia a month after seen in the US. These are a big hit overseas and will be the same here. The difference is that they come in both a shiny and matte finish, 10 similar shades in each finish. Revlon Australia's website has them on their website including the original balm stains as of at least last night.  You can head their to see pictures and the colours and the different formulas of each finish. Check your local Priceline, Chemist Warehouse and Terry White Chemist stores for these as they'll be hard to keep in stock!! Let me know the shades you're keen to try. Colour: 001 Honey Douche - more mauve and deeper in the tube compared to the outside packaging but this was the lightest shade of the range I had available to me. Sheer pigmentation with a sheen finish.  The sheen does wear off once the lips come into contact with something else. Available in 10 colours. Formula/ Texture: It's a thin, smooth and lightweight texture. It glides on easily. The chubbiness of the crayon adds to the foolproof ability of applying this. Packaging: Black plastic twist up tube with clear plastic lid. It does attract dirty finger marks. The size is portable and the lid does stay firmly on the tube. Smell: None. Colour: Light Pale 002 - more yellow undertoned colour. Medium coverage with a matte finish. There is a light shade and medium colours. R- concealer blended Formula/ Texture: The concealer is creamy and smooth in texture. It is a little thicker then a liquid concealer but is somewhat lightweight on the face. I've found to be very long wearing and works well applied with fingers or a brush. Also you're face needs to be well hydrated and moisturised otherwise it picks up dry skin. This concealer needs to be blended very well into the skin otherwise it looks as though it's just sitting on the face. It is easy to blend with fingers or a brush. When these lip butters a hybrid between a lip balm and a lipstick, I knew I had to try some when I was able to get my hands on them when they finally  did arrive in Australia. Packaging: Each lip butter comes in a twist up tube with the lid a sheer frosted colour matching the shade that glides over the top. On top of the square tubes is a clear square that also shows you what colour the lip butter is. The bottom of the tube is the shade name and number. The sleeve lid has two sides that are plain frosted and the other two frosted with the criss cross pattern found across the colorburst range. Smell: None. Colour: Sugar Frosting - flat baby pink. Packaging: The packaging is similar to the colorburst lipsticks. The tube itself is a clear square. The lid is the criss cross black found on the lipsticks with the silver label. The wand is very long, which is a lil weird to get used to at the beginning but is actually quite handy. Not only does it reach all the way to the bottom of the tube (uh I would hope Revlon would manufacture them like so), it makes it less invading on your lips when you put some gloss on. As in you don't feel like the handle is right on your mouth when your applying it. The shape of the applicator is unique and the first I have seen of it. It's not the typical doe foot, whilst it still is sponge. The shape reminds me of a spatula, where in the middle is flat and thin. It doesn't feel as though it picks up too much product so a lot isn't dispensed onto the lips but an even application in one swipe. So the product is defiantly buildable. S...

Packaging: Clear plastic bottle and cap with a black pump. The thing I like about the packaging is that you can see how much you have used/ have left. Also the pump allows you to control how much product you want by how much pressure you apply. It feels a little heavy but sturdy enough to not have to worry about the bottle cracking. Smell: Funny, like off melted plastic. Colour: Very light pink but blends out clear. There is two colours so far in the primer area, this one and the colour correcting primer. It has a matte finish. Texture/ Formula: It's a thickish cream formula. It's easily applied using fingers and absorbed. So I wanted to compare these two lipsticks as I thought and the more I looked at them the more I thought that they looked similar and got excited that the Revlon will be a dupe for the MAC. In the post I did for the Revlon Colorburst lipstick I mentioned that I thought this may be the case and I was really wanting the MAC Creme de Nude. Colour: They both look similar in the tube as you can tell from the above picture. I'm not sure the picture is picking it up but the Revlon is a little more orange in the tube. Or should I say more on the orange side. The MAC Creme de Nude is swatched on the right side in both photos. When it is swatched the colour is more opaque. It is a more muted neutral peach nude and leans more this way. Packaging: The packing is very elegant and not a typical cheap looking product which is awesome. Its very channel-esque with the quilt/ crisscross patttern, which makes me feel very important and special. The actual casing is a hard plastic meaning that its pretty durable and can handle being chucked around. I like the engraved  Revlon  on the stick too. Smell: Manufactured plastic smell. Colour: #065 Rosy Nude - reddish pink with a brown/ mauve undertone. Opaque pigmentation with a matte finish. This specific colour does go on a little reedier than my natural lip colour which may interest those who like lip products that look similar to their own natural lips. This colour is not suited for me as it's too mauve-y for my liking (lucky it was free). Texture/ Formula: This lipstick feels light weight on the lips. Packaging: This lipgloss is in a clear acrylic rectangle tube with a black shiny lid and a gold bar around the whole tube that separate the clear bottom from the black top. In this gold bar REVLON is written on the front side. This style of packaging is very similar to the lipgloss packaging of Chanel but at a fraction of the cost. The applicator is a doe foot wand that dispenses the right amount of product in one swipe so that theres not an over load of gloss and so that the colour is opaque similar to what is shown in through the tube. If you want the same opaqueness as in the tube then all it takes is another swipe. Not 3/4. The length of the wand feels a little short with first use. NARS lipgloss wand is longer but this wand doesn't feel as though it's so short that your shoving your hand into your mouth.
