Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms
Packaging:
Thick shiny plastic tube with cap. Each shade has it's corresponding colour as the tube colour with a silver end. In this case it's a light mauve pink with silver text. The bottom of the tube winds the chubby pencil up/down. The end does come softly pointed but does wear down flatter.
130 Tease - Orange with neutral undertones
150 Enticing - True red with cool undertones
135 Provocateur - Burnt red with warm undertones
125 Flirtatious - Berry with neutral undertones. Silver shimmer in tube but doesn't translate to lips
120 Vivacious - Deep pink with cool undertones
105 Demure - Light pink with warm undertones. Silver shimmer in tube but doesn't translate to lips
145 Ingénue - Light brown with cool undertones. Silver shimmer in tube but doesn't translate to lips
140 Coy - Dark brown with warm undertones. Silver shimmer in tube but doesn't translate to lips
All have such opaque pigmentation with a lacquer shine finish. Each have a medium buildable coverage. Whimsical is the sheerest colour out of all of the shades. The swatch is a built up compared to the one stroke of Ingéne. Available in 10 colours in both the matte and balm finishes (that match the colours shown here).
Smell:
Peppermint which I don't particularly like as it reminds me a lot of the strong after dinner chocolate mints.

Formula/ Texture:
Essentially what this is, fuses the benefits of a lip balm with the pigmentation of a lipstick in a chubby crayon. It is very lightweight and comfortable on the lips, gliding on easily. The chubbiness of the crayon adds to the foolproof ability of applying this (even without a mirror). It does take a little effort to remove this with a basic makeup wipe.
The formula contains Triple Moisture Complex with moisturising polymers and light esters that I really do find nourishing and hydrating on the lips, even with all day wear. There is defiantly no stickiness. I've only found there to be a little feathering with is the red colour Provocateur. And I don't wear a lipliner with any of these which impresses me!!
These aren't lip stains like the Just Bitten Kissable balms. They are a burst of colour with a lacquer finish which is what I like. I expected them to have a different longevity compared to the Just Bitten Kissable balms. The longevity of these is 4-5hrs. Having a shine finish, these does reduce the longevity when your mouth comes into contact with food or drink. In saying that they all do wear evenly expect for the shade Whimsical. The glitter in this shade fades quicker in the centre of the lips leaving a line on the outside of the lips.

In saying that, the pigmentation and colour range of these is absolutely amazing! I am seriously obsessed with these. I have never brought a product line in it's entirety before like I have with these 10 lacquer balms. I honestly don't mind that these aren't stains like the original balms as I get frikken awesome pigmentation as a trade.
As I mentioned before the tip of this is very soft and wears down flat, however I don't feel this is something that needs sharpening at all. Using the side of the point will help to keep the point finer rather than flat.
I want to mention that some of the reviews I've read and watched mentioned that the little clear security sticker on these took off some of the colour off the packaging when it removed. However this didn't happen to any of mine but I thought was weird.
If you love a shiny pigmented lip gloss that isn't sticky, then go grab your hands on these! Seriously you won't be disappointed!
