Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser

Packaging:
Palm sized clear plastic tube. The applicator is a semi circle soft sponge that is protected by a clear cap. The applicator and tube is separated by a red section that you twist in one direction that moves the product up through to the applicator.

When the sponge seems like it's getting dry with product you just twist this top section and more product is dispensed. When you have been using it for a while the product level is moved down and you can actually see how much you have used/ how much you have left. I like how fluffy and squishy the applicator looks.

Smell:
None.

Colour:
Light Pale- beige with yellow undertones. Medium to full coverage with a satin finish. Available in 3 shades.

Texture/ Formula:
This is a thin and smooth liquid almost cream consistency. It is lightweight on the face with no cakeiness or settling into fine lines. It is easy to apply from the sponge tip and blend in using fingers or a brush. A basic makeup wipe will remove this.

I haven't experienced any creasing or transferring and I don't see any flash back in photos and has a longevity of 8hrs. It does take 120 clicks to get the product up through the tube and out onto the sponge with the very first use. From here one click I've found to last me 2 separate makeup applications.

There are three uses I wanted to try this for. The first is for redness which this does a good job of concealing red areas such as around the nose. The second is for blemishes. Now I know there a different undertones so the pink concealer will be harder to use for this purpose if your skin is more yellow undertoned.

Like with red areas, very pigmented blemishes or scars won't be covered by this concealer otherwise it gets too cakey. This will pick up on dry skin and emphasis this. However for what I would consider your average size and redness concealer, this does a good job at covering them.

The last area is under the eyes as the product name suggests. I love this concealer for this area too! Again dry skin will be picked up by this concealer and emphasised. This has enough coverage that those with light to no dark circles may not need to use a corrector. It has buildable coverage but be careful that a thick layer with cause this to cake. If you have major under eye circles, then a corrector is defiantly recommended before using this.

The multi usage is perfect and something that I would recommend to others. It's a great all round concealer. I would suggest to choose the undertone carefully as one is more pink undertoned than the other, making it not as suited for the blemishes.
