Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss

Packaging:
This lipgloss is in a clear acrylic rectangle tube with a black shiny lid and a gold bar around the whole tube that separate the clear bottom from the black top. In this gold bar REVLON is written on the front side. This style of packaging is very similar to the lipgloss packaging of Chanel but at a fraction of the cost.

The applicator is a doe foot wand that dispenses the right amount of product in one swipe so that theres not an over load of gloss and so that the colour is opaque similar to what is shown in through the tube. If you want the same opaqueness as in the tube then all it takes is another swipe. Not 3/4. The length of the wand feels a little short with first use. NARS lipgloss wand is longer but this wand doesn't feel as though it's so short that your shoving your hand into your mouth.

Colour:
#150 Peach Petal - pinky creamy beige nude colour. Sheer pigmentation with a gloss finish. It's more warm undertoned than NARS lipgloss in Turkish Delight, as the Revlon one has more of a peachy tone to it. This colour goes with every makeup look I do. It's a great colour to chuck in the handbag and know that when I want some gloss I can just put some of this on.

#180 Pink Pop - blue undertoned pink. Opaque pigmentation with a gloss finish. Available in 5-6 colours.


Texture/ Formula:
These are a thick and smooth gloss. These aren't sticky or greasy. The colour is a little on the sheer side but can defiantly be built up to be more opaque on the lips. It can defiantly be felt on the lips. There's no feathering but the creamer shade did settle into the lip lines a bit.

It contains SPF 15 which adds some sun protection in a glamourous way. Vitamin C & E are also in formula which helps nourish and soften the lips. My lips don't' feel dry. I has such a brilliant shine! Of course the longevity is short and due to the thick texture, if they are smudged so is the colour and shine.

The handy small size yet Chanel-esqe looking packaging makes it feel as though these lip glosses are much more expensive then they are. They are a great drugstore moisturising gloss.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes.
