Prestige My Blackest Lashes Mascara
Packaging:
Black shiny tube, with white writing that came off with daily usage. The wand is similar to the CoverGirl LashFushion but is more tapered at the tip and has longer brissles but shorter than those on the L'Oreal extra-Volume Collagene mascara. I thought that this shape of the wand would mean that it will deliver more product onto the lashes and reach more lashes and therefore make my eye more volumised. These brissles are wire and can hurt is you accidentally poke your eye.
Smell:
Plastic & manufactured. Not very pleasant even if the mascara wand is out for a few seconds each day.
Colour:
Blackest black. Opaque pigmentation with a matte finish.
Texture/ Formula:
This is a thick beeswax texture. It's long-lasting but needs a specific eye makeup remover to take off. There was no flaking but there was smudging. My lashes did feel stiff.
My lashes stick together creating 5 distinct lashes and not 5million like a typical volume mascara would. It just looked as though my lashes had some cheap definition mascara, lashes all clumped together. I was so disappointed in this mascara as I didn't see any volume in my lashes as promoted not the tube.

This just seemed too hard of a product to work with; needing a specific eye makeup remover, no volume, smudging, clumping. Some people may love it, probably with naturally long and curled lashes.
