Revlon Colorburst Lipbutter
When these lip butters a hybrid between a lip balm and a lipstick, I knew I had to try some when I was able to get my hands on them when they finally did arrive in Australia.

Packaging:
Each lip butter comes in a twist up tube with the lid a sheer frosted colour matching the shade that glides over the top. On top of the square tubes is a clear square that also shows you what colour the lip butter is. The bottom of the tube is the shade name and number. The sleeve lid has two sides that are plain frosted and the other two frosted with the criss cross pattern found across the colorburst range.
Smell:
None.
Colour:
Sugar Frosting - flat baby pink. Sheer pigmentation with a satin finish, I feel as though this is the most wearable as it has natural undertones meaning that it suits everyone. To get the colour seen in the bullet does require some more swipes.

080 Strawberry Shortcake - pink with cool undertones. Opaque with a satin finish. I wouldn't necessary call it a bright pink as there are other shades in the line that have more blue undertones. I call it a true pink, as in the pink that you think of for the shade pink.

095 Creme Brûlée - perfect nude, brown colour that leans more on the warm side. Sheer with a satin finish. Also doubles as a nice building/ layering colour. Buildable colour. Available in 20 shades.

Texture/ Formula:
These lip butters are very smooth and thin. They are lightweight and comfortable on the lips. They don't crease, smudge, bleed or settle into the lip lines. They apply very smoothly straight from the tube, every feeling sticky or greasy.
I've never tried anything like this before but basically; they are a hybrid between the pigmentation of lipstick and moisturising benefits of lipbalm. So they have a short longevity, rubbing off when the lips come in contact with food and drink. But for me this is expected.
The thing that impresses me about these is the hydration it gives to the lips. It lasts for ages!! My lips feel supple and hydrated. Also they give off a lovely semi shiny finish, so they can always be topped off with a glow for more shine.

I defiantly would recommend these lip butters. If lipstick is just too dry for you or you're sick of adding gloss over lipstick, then these will be you're new glory.
