Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Strips
I brought these nail strips right when they first came out and all the talk and hype started with them.
Packaging:
Each set comes with 16 nail polish strips in various sizes and with multiples (see above), cuticle stick, mini file & buffer as well as instructions. The actual nail strips them selves come packaged in these tight sealed packs, that I feel dry out and loose their stickiness once they are opened so when you go to use the left overs as a accent nail and such they adhesive isn't as strong as just brought which does seem like a little bit of a waste.
The nail sticker has the backing, the nail colour and a clear film. I felt as though each of the varying sizes fitted well against the shape of my nails which made the look of the strips more realistic of a coat of polish. The strips themselves are flexible and thin which makes it easier to apply and buff off.
Colour:
280 Blue Ice - cool toned teal blue with blue and silver glitter. The surface of the strip looks as though it is rough like usual chunky glitter but in this instance they top is a smooth surface. These strips come in various themed designs and colours and by the looks of it will continue to do so, as well as other brands introducing their own nail strips.

Results:
Three words. Get On It.
The instructions are very easy to read and understand. The best bit about these strip is that there is zero drying time, no mess or fuss and done in probably at leads half of the time conventional nail polish takes to dry. Literally all you do with these strips is peel off the backing from the correct sized strip, apply it to the nail and then use the mini buffer to shape the nail strip to the natural nail.
The other benefit of these strips is the durability of them. They last roughly 10 days and the last photo above is the condition of my nails at day 7 of having them on. There was the chipping from the usual household duties and washing up but mostly the growth of the nail made the strips look weird and come off not too long after. This is compared to a normal manicure that can last around 3 days before signs of chipping & wear.
