Sara Happ Lip Scrub

Packaging:

The scrub comes in this bright pink sturdy box with a white ribbon on it and with the simple words in white text that contrast nicely against the box 'Sara Happ Lip Scrub'. Inside the box is the scrub which comes in a round clear container with a clear screw top lid. The info with how to use the scrub and ingredients are on the label around the container.

Smell:

Grapefruit/ fairy floss sugar combo. It's the kind of smell that you stick your nose into the jar and you just want to eat it! Sounds weird but no seriously so yummy!.

Colour:

Pink! I couldn't think of a better colour ;) It does come in 2 other flavours/ colours but I know this one Sparkling Grapefruit is limited edition. The others include Peppermint, Creme Brûlée (yumm!), Brown Sugar, Alminnd Creme, Cinnamon Sugar, Cocoa & Vanilla Bean.

Texture/ Formula:

It's gentle, thick and grainy in texture. There is no harsh granules in this scrub like those found in a face scrub. The clumps look like they are sugar. It does get a little messy when it's applied.

Fingers are the best for this, just scoop a decent amount out, rub along lips and wash off. Don't do any harsh rubbing on your lips, this skin is delicate. There's no greasy feeling left on your lips but there is a layer of silky barrier. If you have drier lips then do moisturise after use.

This is my first lip scrub. For the high price of it, I did have high hopes for it before use. It is good!! Like I said it is gentle on the lips but afterwards they are smooth and soft. I am surprised at how good of an exfoliatant this is. All dry skin is removed. My lips happen to be more sensitive when I started using this and it hasn't caused them to burn or become irritated.

Bottom line is that this scrub does it's job. It's a bonus that it smells/tastes amazing. For what it does and the price a gentle scrub with a toothbrush does the exact same job. Plus it's already in your bathroom.
