Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Brightener

After hearing this product be the only thing that everyone in the States seemed to be talking about I went on the hunt for it here, knowing that most good products never make it to Australia. I ended up finding it in my trusty Chemist Warehouse store where they seem to stock most new makeup products before any other store.

Packaging:
Palm sized clear plastic tube. The applicator is a semi circle soft sponge that is protected by a clear cap. The applicator and tube is separated by a red section that you twist in one direction that moves the product up through to the applicator.

When the sponge seems like it's getting dry with product you just twist this top section and more product is dispensed. When you have been using it for a while the product level is moved down and you can actually see how much you have used/ how much you have left. I like how fluffy and squishy the applicator looks.

Smell:
None surprisingly.

Colour:
#60 - beige with pink undertones. Medium pigmentation with a satin finish.  Buildable colour. This helps to neutralise the blueness or cool tones commonly found in the under eye area. Available in 3 shades.

Texture/ Formula:
This is a thin and smooth liquid almost cream consistency. It is lightweight on the face with no cakeiness or settling into fine lines. It is easy to apply from the sponge tip and blend in using fingers or a brush. A basic makeup wipe will remove this. I don't see any flash back in photos and lasts all day (8hrs).

This has enough coverage that those with light to no dark circles may not need a concealer on top. It's enough to cover the circles and looks flawless with concealer on top. If you have major under eye circles, then a concealer is defiantly recommended. It just wakes up your face by reflecting the light from under the eyes. Not to mention it can give a more youthful appearance.

If you want an inexpensive brightener or those with very sensitive under eyes, this is for you and you'll enjoy it.

Available:
From Priceline, pharmacies and discount department stores for $17 for 6ml/2 oz.
