Original Beauty Blender Sponge

Packaging:
This is a unique small bright pink tear drop shaped sponge that's soft to the touch. The curves are designed to fit the contours of your face. The plastic containers acts as a stand to air dry the sponge away from dirt.

Of course you don't have to use or keep this packaging but I like to use it for that exact reason, I know that there is a clean hygiene place specifically for my beauty blender to dry.

To use this sponge you wet the sponge a couple of times, squeeze the water out, wrap a paper towel or cloth around the sponge and squeeze the excess water out. By doing this the sponge expands. Below are before and after comparisons against an EOS lip balm (mint) & Manicare makeup sponge in terms of width & height between the items. As you can tell the beauty blender defiantly balloons up in size when damp.

This sponge is also available in a pack that contains the beauty blender cleanser that gets rid of the makeup. I use Neutrogena Deep Clean cleanser that totally gets rid of the foundation on this sponge. It is more readily available to me to clean my sponge than the branded cleanser.

Smell:
No.

Colour:
Bright pink new, but with continue use the areas of the sponge become less bright pink.

Texture/ Forumla:
If you have problem skin Beautyblender works to cover blemishes. Use the pointed end and the stipple and twist technique to work make up into depressed areas of the face. The stippling and twisting action feathers out the make up's edges, leaving a perfect finish.

Compared to other sponges, this is very bouncy on the face and very squishy when it's squeezed. It almost immediately retains it's shape once squeezed. It's also very easy to hold, I feel like there is a decent amount of sponge when stippling onto my face.

The Sponge has a patent-pending elliptical shape making for fool proof makeup application with no streaks. The finish that this sponge gives is literally flawless. Rolled or stippled on, your skin looks as though theres not one flaw and is perfectly perfect, no flaws or visible signs that foundation is actually on the skin. I really highly recommend this sponge to even and anyone who can get their hands on it, it is defiantly worth the investment and the sponge lasts a long while between having to get a new one.

It's weird that a simple tear drop sponge can be so hyped!! No joke it has changed the way I apply my makeup. The finish and results I get is unbelievable. I receive comments on how good my skin looks when I use this, and lets be honest my skin isn't supermodel flawless.

I am in love and it has become one of those products I can't live without. If you're on the fence, get it you won't be disappointed.
