Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Straight Flat Iron Perfector Straightening Mist

Packaging:
Flat green tinted plastic bottle. It comes with an organ pump that has a little resistance and clear plastic cap. The shape of the bottle makes is very easy to hold. The spray nozzle is wide and soft which I find hard to dispense product evenly over a layer area. The tinted bottle makes it easy to see how much is left.

Smell/Taste:
Citrus/ fruity.

Colour:
None.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a straight liquid. It is easy to apply using the pump nozzle. It is lightweight on the hair and doesn't weigh it down or make it extra greasy. It doesn't leave any type of film on the hair.

A unique feature is that the formula contains argan oil that just makes my hair feel stronger and smoother at the ends. It makes the strands feel and look healthier. I notice a slight shine to the hair too, especially when it's straight.

This claims to have a 48hr straightening hold. I went 3 days with straight hair even sleeping with a hair tie and there was no kink in my hair. This surprised me as I felt as thought I didn't spray enough product in my hair. My hair is wavy with some slight frizz, so when it's straightened I can see the wave start to come in around the second day. With that I am amazed it lived up to it's claim.

There is no need to drench the hair with product. You spray onto dry hair which makes me nervous. I did hear crackling when running my straightener through it the very first time. The fine and wide mist distributes a light amount of product onto the hair, drying in no time. Especially by the time you run a straightener through.

In saying that the thermal protection element is the reason I brought this and it provides decent protection to the hair. I'm not sure if it provides the same or less as my loved Schwarzkopf Guardian Angel thermal protection spray.

It defiantly keeps my hair straighter then any other thermal spray I have used and that would be the only reason I would buy this again and recommend it. The yummy smell is a bonus. I don't know how it'll perform using this with a curling iron, especially on fine poker straight hair. I'll update when I do use it for that.
