Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment

Packaging:
Brown smooth matte metal twist up tube with a screw on lid (that takes up 95% of the tube). The balm bullet is wide.

Smell:
Lemon.

Colour:
Sugar - untainted. Natural finish. Available in 11 shades/tints.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a smooth, thick wax. It's easy to apply to the lips and it's a little stiff/thick to move the product around the lips. The wide bullet makes it easier to apply then a typical stick balm. It hasn't caused any irritation or burning to my lips.

The formula actually contains tart black currant oil that hydrates the lips. I find this hydration property to last a couple of hours before I felt my lips starting to feel dry. I don't notice any plumping effect and I don't consider my lips to be anywhere near full. It also contains SPF15 and vitamins A, C & E to protect from the environment which I notice this did.

This lip treatment does a decent job of hydrating and protecting the lips but defiantly not $22 worth! I do think there are very similar if not more benefiting products available costing a lot less. One of my all time favourite lip balms is any from the Nivea line. Pawpaw ointments are also a favourite of mine.

Available:
Only in America from Sephora stores, sephora.com for US$22.50 for 4.3g/0.15oz.
