Katy Perry 'Purr' Perfume Review

Like many women I have had many different types of perfumes and for something new for my blog to start the new year, I thought I'd review the ones I have.

I've had the classic Britney Spears 'Curious', 'Fantasy' (which are my all time favourites and started me in perfumes) and 'Circus Fantasy', Vera Wang 'Princess', Taylor Swift 'Wonderstruck', Juicy Couture 'Juicy Couture' and 'Peace, Love, Juicy Couture', DKNY 'Be Delicious', 'Be Delicious Fresh Blossom',  'Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Juiced' and 'Be Delicious Juiced', Christina Aguilera 'Signature', 'Inspire', 'Royal Desire' and finally YSL 'Parisienne'.

Packaging:
Purple tinted glas shaped into a sitting cat with silver accents at the base, collar round neck and diamond eyes The cap is sturdy and clicks shut.

Notes:
Top- gardenia, green bamboo, apple & peach
Middle- rose, freesia, jasmine
Base- musk, sandalwood, amber, coconut, vanilla

Smell:
This is a sweet and sensual perfume. It has hints of fruit and vanilla to it initially that turns into the musk that lingers. I find this to last all day on my skin, getting whiffs of it throughout the day. I think it can be either a day or night perfume as it isn't too strong. I think it works better in the warmer seasons due to the fruitiness and suit the more younger women.

When I smell this, it uplifts my mood, transporting it to a fun, mysterious and sexy place.I am surprised I like this perfume as the top and middle notes are more sweet and fruity then the other perfumes I tend to enjoy. It's the sandalwood and musk in the base notes that lingers on my skin that I enjoy.
