Garnier Pure Volume Dry Shampoo
Packaging:
Lime green aerosol can with tinted cap. It has pink and white accent writing. The spray is fine. Honestly I thought that this can looked small when I saw it. Feeling the weight it as if there wasn't an adequate amount of product.
Smell:
Citrus which reminds me of their other products.
Colour:

Colour:

Formula/ Texture:
In my opinion this is the same formula wise like every other dry shampoo out there. On the can it says that this is silicone and colorant free. Im not 100% sure what that means, but I'm guessing it won't make your hair feel slippery like the silicone in primers do, nor extra chemicals on the hair that aren't needed.
On the dry shampoo factor, yes this does work. My hair feels refreshed and doesn't look greasy. I do feel that I have to spray more of this on as compared to others I've tried but that may be due to the finer mist spray?
My hair doesn't get that greasy or dirty looking at all but I have noticed that I can use this on second day and by the end of that day my hair will look slightly greasy and need a wash. This is disappointing. If used on third day hair, it doesn't really seem to do much and I have to resort to a bun. The Batiste dry shampoos I can use on third and fourth day hair.
The factor that drew my eye in was the 'volume & body' boost claim. On this, yes I can see volume at the roots where this has been sprayed. It does add that extra bit of oomph to the hair. Though spray too much and you'll end up with little white flakes, similar to dandruff but much smaller and more noticeable.
I like this, but I don't love it. The can says it'll last for 32 uses and while I don't doubt that, I feel other brands offer more product and last longer. My favourite is Batiste. They have a 200 and 400ml cans and I know these are at least 50ml more then Garnier, I feel those are decent in how much product you get.
Garnier is the same price as Batiste for less product and coupled with the disappointing lasting of the refreshed feel, I won't be buying this again. If you have fine, thin hair I think this will work for you or if he other brands of dry shampoo were too heavy for your hair.
Available:
From Priceline, pharmacies and discount department stores for $9 for 99g/150ml.
