Overview | Top MAC Eyeshadows

Like with my similar posts, this is my top MAC eyeshadow picks that I thought would be fun to share. Lets be honest, if I'm going to fork out that kind of money for an eyeshadow I want to know how wearable it is.

These are the ones for starters of the brand and the ones that I would recommend. All colours are neutral, wearable, everyday and every occasion colours. Add colour to suit you and your personal taste. That's why I choose these specific ones.



Highlight
Shroom - soft muted golden beige with shimmer

Lid
All That Glitters - midtone beige with pink shimmer
Grain - soft golden beige with icy shimmer
Patina - muted taupe brown with golden shimmer

Crease/ Outer V
Cork - muted golden brown
Wedge - soft muted golden beige brown
Woodwinked - warm antique gold

Setting Eyeliner
Carbon - true rich black
  *if you have a black from any palette from any brand then this shade isn't necessary. I do think a black can be used for anything.


Other colours that I love are Humid (green), Aquadisiac (blue) and contrast (purple). Im sure when I get a larger collection of taupes, browns and beiges, my recommendations and top picks will probably change.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil

Packaging: Thin round pencil with a silver end and cap and comes in a black and reflective silver cardboard box with a shaded pencil swatch on it. The majority of the pencil is coloured to match the lip liner shade with silver text. In this case the pencil is a pinky/purple. The tip is short but with a soft point and wears down easy. Smell/Taste: None. Colour: Speedball - deep vibrant purple. Matte finish. Available in 15 shades. Formula/ Texture: This is a smooth, thick wax. It's easy to apply from the pencil, is lightweight and comfortable  on the lips.  It's easily  removed with a basic makeup wipe. Easy to sharpen,  I haven't experienced any irritations,  feathering , tugging, skipping or dried out lips when applying and wearing this. I can get 10hrs+ wear before I've had to remove it. It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Product

Packaging: Palm sized transparent dark purple plastic soft hourglass bottle with a pinker purple nozzle and lid. I like how slightly transparent the bottle is so you can see how much product is left. The size is great for travel, with enough uses for a month. Smell: Floral, very similar to Tresemme products. Colour: White but sprays out transparent. Formula/ Texture: This is a smooth and silky but with a consistency a littler thicker than a typical liquid. I have found this easy to spray if stored upright so the product sits at the bottom. When it's getting low, it does take a while for the product to get to the bottom. You do have to use this on towel dried hair and comb through after. I find that once my hair dries, it's more manageable and feels softer and smoother. There is no greasy or film like feeling either.
