Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - Oil Free

Packaging:
Plastic thin and flat beige/grey metallic squeeze tube with screw off lid. The opening is a good small size where the perfect amount of product is dispensed out.

Smell:
Slightly chemical.

Colour:
White that is clear when thinned out over the face. Natural finish.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thin cream formula. It is lightweight on the skin that is really easily applied and absorbed. It's non greasy and I've not had any irritations however this does break me out. That's odd to me as it's oil free and these products don't break me out. It makes me think that maybe my skin is allergic to a specific ingredient which I can't pinpoint.

The skin actually feels refreshed and smoothed out thanks to the non-comedogenic green tea, and vitamins A, C, E and cucumber. I don't need a large amount of product to adequately cover my face and neck.

It doesn't grip my foundation as much as other silicone based primers but I still get an additional couple of hours of wear. By the end of the day my makeup does start to shift though with this primer. It does reduce the appearance of pores creating a smooth surface. It doesn't mattify the face so it didn't reduce or enhance any natural shine on my face.

It is hydrating enough that I think dry skin types would still get some longevity out of their makeup.
