Australis Make-up Finishing Spritz
It's summer now and even though I haven't been wearing much makeup, when I've been meeting up with friends I'd come home to find that my eyeliner has faded and smudged and that my blush had faded away and this was only after a few hours of applying it. I thought that maybe a make-up setting spray might help with this.
I heard girls talking about M.A.C's Fix + spray to set their makeup and to give themselves a refresher throughout the day. Now the closest M.A.C counter to me is 40 mins away and I want a few other things from there so I wanted to try the Fix + when I got those things. Now I've only noticed in the last few months that Australias had released this spray which claims to do the exact same things as M.A.C for half the price. I have no idea though if this is a permanent product of there's or if it's limited edition.

Packaging:
There's no box there's just the bottle. The bottle itself has a matte finish. The sheer pink colour is actually the spray itself. It is applied with a black spray lid and a clear lid to protect the nozzle.

Texture/ Colour/ Application:
The colour as mentioned before is pink only in dense amounts such as in the bottle. The texture of this spray is a fine mist that projects a long way. The way I like to apply this is after my makeup, is to hold out the bottle at arms length and spray 3 times; once in the middle of my face and to the left and to the right sides. This way the spray gets even coverage. I let that air dry and sink into my face and then Im done. You could always use a stippling brush to further sink the spray in.
The formula of the product contains aloe vera which helps to maintain the moisture in the skin and to hydrate it. I really think that this has helped set my makeup and made it last. I tested this out on a 38 degree Celsius day and my makeup looked pretty much exactly the same as when I applied it in the morning. As for a refresher, it's nice and light and makes my skin feel more fresh and awake. Im not sure how I lived without a makeup setting spray, especially during the summer.
I think this is a great option for those who want to get into using makeup setting sprays or need an extra boost of hydration throughout the day.
