GHD
I've been back at uni this month and I've been straightening my hair more and thus using my GHD more. I got it in December of 2009 and can't believe why I didn't get one sooner.
Packaging: Heavy, palm sized round, smooth metal jar with a plastic screw on lid with a metal embellishment. The jar has a white and silver/ grey colour scheme. The lid features a silver star to match the silver text. There is a product stopper that lifts out which can be either thrown away or kept. It feels considerably heavy compared to a moisturiser jar but the packaging is thick when you see how much product it holds. This could have something to do with keeping the natural ingredients/ acids fresh. It comes in this octagon shaped white cardboard box matching the jar. The lid is a sleeve that lifts off, revealing the jar in a cradle from the cardboard, covered by a 'Hello Sexy' flap. I thought this was a unique way to present the jar and it was nice to have my sexiness reaffirmed! Smell/Taste: Faint liquorice that is quite powerful. Colour: Dark grey and dries white. Formula/ Texture: It's a thick and slightly smooth consistency. It...
Packaging: Palm sized white smooth aerosol can. Comes with a sturdy opaque cap. The spray is wide and soft in concentration. This is very disable and portable packing making it perfect for any type of travel. Due to the opaque packaging, it is hard to visibly tell how much product is left. However this can be determined by feeling the weight of the can. I don't find the pump nozzle to be hard to pump. I do want to note that the can came in a tamper proof protective film which I thought was beneficial. Smell: None. Colour: None. Formula/ Texture: This spray is literally water. You can defiantly feel in the skin that this is more dense water particles that in terms of sprays, saturate the face with product. So this isn't a light mist but being water, this is comfortable on the skin. It's easily absorbed as expected from water. It has a soothing effect on my face more so than refreshing. I think it'll be perfect solution for those situa...
Packaging: This comes in the standard NARS packaging which is a little case of black corrugated cardboard and then in a NARS cardboard packaged black box. The bottle is a square frosted glass shape with a black velvet matte screw off lid. The opening of the foundation is quite large so the amount of product that is dispensed varies depending on the force used to tip the bottle up. Therefore I do strongly recommend using caution. A pump nozzle would be so much better for this product and I know NARS sell this separately online but in terms of ease of use it would make the foundation packaging that much easier to work with. Smell: None Colour: Deauville (light 4) - light beige with neutral undertones. Light to medium coverage with a matte finish. Buildable. It looks very yellow when it's swatched but when blended into the skin it matches my skin tone perfectly!!...
