Skin & Nails Haul - July 2011

Revlon Manicare Set
This was $5 from Chemist Warehouse. It contains a set of nail clippers, emery metal file, cuticle pusher & trimmer and a nail buffer all housed in a red with white swirl case. I needed some good quality nail tools and I saw this bargain and new it was too good to pass up.

Maybelline Sensation Lipliner #25 Toast
I wanted a nude/natural coloured lip liner that would go with my various shades of lipstick that are in the nude family category. I have never tried a lip liner before as I believe that they are not really necessary and give an un-natural look but are necessary only for red lipstick. Which I plan to be wearing that Saturday at a Disney themed 21st and I'll be Snow White. From Chemist Warehouse it was on special for $11.

YSL Touche Eclat #1
It was $35 from Chemist Warehouse. I've seen it there before and I didn't pick one up. I've been dying (not literally) to try one of these beautys' out as they are one of the most converted and raved about beauty product.

Scented tealights in glass jar with suction glass lid
I've wanted a glass jar similar to this to place on my dressing table to add character to my room but also so I could store cotton buds in there so I always had some handy instead of rushing to the bathroom to get one. I realise how wide the jar is and yes I do plan on filling it all with cotton buds and no I don't go through cotton buds fast by any means but it looks pretty. From Thingz for $8.

Skin Vitals T-Purify Anti-Spot Cleansing Clarifying Mask
I wanted to try a new variety of face masks. These look promising. From Priceline for $10.

Scholl Party Feet Gel Cushions & Foot File
It was buy two items from School for $15 at Priceline. I have gel cushions from 3 years ago that still provide extreme comfort but a new set to be permanent in another pair of heels wouldn't hurt. I've always wanted to have a foot file and this one is girly enough to not being boring and is made by a well loved feet company. Both were normally $10.50 each.

11th July
Sally Hansen Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover
Sally Hansen at Priceline had a deal were if you spent over $25 in one transaction then you got a free manicare set. Now I know in the above haul the Revlon is identical, well this Sally Hansen was the one I orginally wanted when I spotted it on the USA wesbsite but in Australia Sally Hansen hasn't yet expanded into tools and lotions, so I settled for second best (being the Revlon) seeing as I couldn't buy it online. Whats so good about the Sally Hansen one?

Well how bright and vibrant the colour is and they look like decent quality tools. Im not smashing Revlon, they are quality tools but when you are able to get something that you've always wanted you go for it right? Right. Don't worry I passed on the Revlon nail kit to my Mum who was more than happy to have some quality tools. This Nail polish remover was $5.45.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant
$24 from Chemist Warehouse. Heard this is a legendary lotion that I thought was waaay to expensive for me to have but defiantly not passing up the opportunity to try it. Im not even sure I have a use for it.

Sally Hansen Salon Effects # Blue Ice
Always wanted to try these and now I have my opportunity. They were $15.

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Extreme Wear Nail Polish # Blue Me Away
Needed to make up the $25 and this was a nice fun colour to brighten things up every now and again and my sister does nail art so this would be a nice colour to use for that. It was $6.95.

This is the free gift for spending the certain amount. Like the Revlon it contains a metal nail file, a nail buffer, nail clippers and a cuticle pusher/trimmer in a velevt orange clasp close case.
