Ulta Haul | January - First Drugstore for the year!

Well it was done again. A drugstore beauty haul! It's one of those situations where you go particularly for one item and leave with a whole bunch of other stuff. Expect in my case it was clicking online and adding things to my cart!

 Nothing like new makeup to play with! ;)

Urban Decay Setting Spray Duo $40
I needed a refill/ restock of this from the travel size I got in America. I remember with all the Christmas sets and gift packs that UD had this full sized duo at Ulta. One is $30 and the duo was $40. I thought it was risky to but two full sized products but I figured for how much I absolutely love the travel sized spray, it'll be worth my money.
Maybelline Colorsensational Rebel Bloom Lipsticks $9ea
These are some of the newest lip colours for the new season. While our seasons are opposite to America and these are intended for Spring they'll still work amazing for our Summer! They appear to be quite pigmented in colour but the coverage is sheer so the colour isn't as intense and gives a softer look. Great for Spring/Summer and into Autumn I reckon.

 I thought if I was going to be placing an order, I may as well chuck them in even though they weren't on sale. The shades below I felt were the most unique to my collection and that would suit me the best so I'd get good wear out of them;

Maybelline Colorsensational Vivids Lipstick $9
I got this in the shade 880 Electronic Orange. Yes - orange. I am wanting to branch out from neutrals into colours, nothing too expensive just to dip my toes in. I didn't get this shade while I was in America and I've been thinking about it ever since. That was 6mths ago!!! To me that just means it's a purchase you do actually wont regret. What the heck just purchase it so you can stop thinking about it as it's a shade that is not in Australia.


Ardell Lashes Duo Pack
When I was scrolling round the site I noticed these were on sale buy one get one half off. Not only are the duo packs not sold here the sale was quite good to pick some up!! I got my two favourite styles #110 for a more natural look and #120 for the glamorous/ sexy feel. Defiantly glad I have these :)

Packaging: Opaque white plastic squeeze tube with a twist off cap. The nib is fine and 2mm wide. The packaging has elements of green and brown to tie in with the organic line. Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes. I have average length lashes that have a very slight natural curl to them, so I want a mascara that does it all- volume, length and curl. I always curl my lashes before mascara applicati...
