Maybelline Color Sensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick

Packaging:
Light purple/pink plastic square casing with a silver tube. The twist up mechanism is easy to use and no problems with it. This is typical packing of Maybelline lipstick ranges. The bullet is a standard slanted tip. It does feel cheap and not as substantial compared to other brands.

Smell:
Vanilla.

Colour:
715 Hibiscus Pop - pink with slight warm undertones.
720 Peony Power - bright pink with cool/blue undertones.
740 Coral Burst - coral with warm undertones.

All have sheer pigmentation with a satin finish. Builable colour. Available in 10 shades.

Formula/ Texture:
This is thin and creamy in consistency. It's does skip a bit during application but doesn't tug at the lips, with no lipliner needed. It is lightweight on the lips. They are easily removed with a basic makeup wipe. The 'brighter shades' like Coral Burst' and 'Peony Power' do leave a slight stain behind.

Theres no feathering, creasing, bleeding or filling into lip lines. It will cling onto dry lips so do exfoliate if this is a problem for you. It does transfer as expected. Longevity is  a generous 4-5 hours. Even though it is quite thin, I do found my lips to be a little hydrated once this is taken off. They are neither drying nor moisturising.

I love pastel colours in my clothes so for me this is just an extension of that. These shades are the most unique I feel to my collection, out of the Rebel Bloom line and the most wearable ones for me personally. They aren't dull colours either which I love cause they aren't going to wash me out.

Available:
From Priceline, discount department stores and chemists for $14 for 4.2g. I got mine from Ulta Beauty in America for $9ea.
