Ole Henrisken Sheer Transformation Creme

Packaging:
Solid thick plastic jar with black screw lid. The jar has blue and white elements that reflect a flaming mood. There is also a plastic stopper which helps keep the creme in the jar not lid.

Smell:
Faint sunscreen. Not my favourite but it doesn't linger.

Colour:
White.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thick and smooth cream. I do feel as though the amount I use to cover my face is more then a pump moisturiser like Olay Total Effects. This could be in my mind though. It's easily absorbed and doesn't feel as though it takes long to penetrate into my skin. There's no greasy feeling and is lightweight.

The formula is oil free which is working out great for my combination skin as it hasn't broken me out! The reason I choose to try this if you haven't watched my Sephora haul is because I want to start fading the acne scarring I have. I'm not sure if I have hyper pigmentation (darkening of the skin caused by an overproduction of pigment) or acne scarring (result from pimples). This contains Vitamin C which is perfect for lightening the skin. It does contain AHA's which penetrated deep down into the skin so the other ingredients can do their job. Along with sugar can it does exfoliate the skin.

The formula contains other natural ingredients like Vitamin E which helps to heal and nourish the skin which I look for in a moisturiser. Sandalwood, Geranium and Chamomile soothe, balance and purify the skin. Most importantly Glycerin which helps hydrate the skin over a longer period of time.

My skin immediately felt smooth & moisturised.
In the first 2 weeks I noticed an slight even and bright skin tone.
Over 4 weeks more noticeable all over even skin tone and brightness.
However I didn't notice a difference in acne scars

This is disappointing. I think I need a product that is heavily Vitamin C based to really attack these spots. I liked and enjoyed this small size but not enough to pay the price for the larger tubs. It felt too much like a drug store moisturiser - nothing wrong with that - just not worth the price.

Available:
From Sephora, sephora.com for US$14 for 0.5oz. $40/1.7oz. $65/3oz.
