Maybelline FIT Me! Foundation
Packaging:
Rectangle glass bottle with a smooth shiny black screw top lid. The opening is quite large so care has to be taken when dispensing product. There is no pump with this. The opening does get 'messy' with foundation after a few uses. The front side of the bottle has elements of teal that indicate the finish of the foundation. The small height of the cap makes storing this easier as does the ability to see how much product is left.
Smell:
Sunscreen mixed with flowers.
Colour:
#115 Ivory - light beige with pink/ yellow undertones. It has medium pigmentation with a semi matte finish.
Available in 6 colours that all lean pink undertoned. This is the second lightest shade for reference.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thicker, smooth liquid. It's easily applied and blended into the face. It's easily removed with a basic makeup wipe. Care does need to be taken when dispensing the product which can lead to product wastage as well as a mess in hurried situations.
This has' caused me any irritations but it has broken me out. I can't find anywhere at all that indicates this is comedogenic which is odd when it's marketed towards oily & combination skin. For record my skin is combination & sensitive. This does cling onto dry patches which is expected of the thicker texture.
The formula has blurring micro - powders that erase pores and absorbs oil. I can get large pores around my nose if I don't properly wash my face and this foundation with pick that up. Any lumps or uneven skin texture will be emphasis as the texture is thicker. It does keep shine and oil at bay. Granted I'm haven't used this during the middle of summer but the late afternoon shine that normally appears - doesn't. I love that.
It does feel slightly lightweight but I can feel I have foundation on my face. The best way to apply this is with fingers so the warmth helps blend the product into the skin. A brush or sponge works well too. I find this foundation to be on like it was applied 8hrs. Not bad as it's not claiming to be a long wearing foundation.
I do wish this had a pump and was comedogenic. I do find that this lean more pink throughout the whole range with very limited colours which is disappointing. There is such a range of skin tones and undertones. I don't consider my skin pale but the end spectrum of the light tone. To be best matched to the second lights shade is a little shocking. I do find this oxidises a bit so go ahead lighter then you think you are.
It's about time drugstore brands reach out to the outer ends of the skin tone range plus including more yellow based shades. I use a lighter under concealer to help the foundation look more natural and less mis matched.
If you have fussy / sensitive skin then stay away from this. If you have even normal to slightly oily I think this will be fine for you. Very pink undertoned girls so with more naturally redder hair will be generally be able to find their shade too.
