Wishlist: Makeup

This post is to compliment the November 2012 wish list I did here. Makeup is my weakness and I could go one forever, so I have though long and hard and gathered all the beauty/ Makeup related items that I want here. 

I'm not sure if I'm going to write why it's on my wish list but I might do a brief reason, cause it's also interesting to see what excites someone. Though no long descriptions.


Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette- loved naked1, naked 2 is too cool toned for my cool undertones skin but this are unique rose gold/ ink shades that is nothing like what I have
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette- unique packaging, coca smell with some basic but interesting colours

Stila One Step Correct Primer- last primer in my series (read here) and seems to have everything you need in a primer

Chanel Vitalumier Aqua Foundation- coverage and formula sound worth trying
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation- repurchase
Laura Mercier Powder Foundation- coverage and formula sound awesome

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer- coverage, texture, formula and longevity sounds awesome

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder 'diffused light'-A soft, warm, pale yellow that reduces redness, eliminates shine, and gives skin clarity. 

Urban Decay 24/7 'Ozone' Lip Pencil- clear is perfect for all lip colours
Maybelline Colorstay 'Clear' Lip Pencil- compare to above

Too Faced Better Then Sex Mascara- had me at 'sex'
MUFE Smokey Lash Mascara- friend swears by this as her holy grail
Benefit They're Real Mascara- repurchase
L'oreal Carbon Black Volumious Mascara- sounds like a good drugstore option

L'oreal Carbon Black Superthin Liquid Eyeliner- compare to australia's version

Packaging: Opaque white plastic squeeze tube with a twist off cap. The nib is fine and 2mm wide. The packaging has elements of green and brown to tie in with the organic line. It's defiantly durable and travel friendly. The cap has caused me some fussing when it hasn't twisted on evenly the first go. I like being able to cut the tube open to get every ounce of product out. Smell/Taste: None. Colour: White, blends out clear. Formula/ Texture: This is a thin and smooth lotion. It's easily applied and absorbed into the eye area without any greasy film or tackiness. Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes. I have average length lashes that have a very slight natural curl to them, so I want a mascara that does it all- volume, length and curl. I always curl my lashes before mascara applicati...
