Overview | Top MAC Lip Products
I wanted to put together the top lip colours that I gravitate towards and why I would recommend them. Everyone has one and these are mine. MAC colours are very pigmented with an opaque coverage and have a lovely vanilla scent. These are some of the first lipsticks I've purchased that I love an enjoy wearing to pretty much all occasions.
I found them all the be universally flattering, meaning all tones of skin will be able to pull them off. These would also be the shades for MAC starters. Creme de Nude may be the only one thats hard to make work but it depends on what blush you pair it with that will make the difference.

Angel
Is the gorgeous shade of pink you can slap on to add some soft colour to our face without feeling like it's over powering- it's a good alternative to a brown shade of lipstick. Angel is a neutral pink with some hint of brown and cool undertones. MAC describes it as a soft pink. This colour has a frost finish meaning it has a slight sheen to it.
Blankety
That colour that adds that little bit of depth to your lips with a nice colour. Blankety is a light brown with a hint of pink and warm undertones which makes it look a little mauve. MAC describes it as a vaguely vacant soft pink beige. This colour has such an amplified colour payoff with a sheen finish.
Coral Bliss
Coral Bliss is a true coral colour with slight silver shimmer that isn't noticeable. MAC describes it as a light coral. I love this colour as its a wearable coral colour that isn't a typical nude or beige, well for me at least. This colour has a creamy shiny finish.
Creme de Nude
Ahh the cult MAC favourite. Creme de Nude is a light beige with a hint of peach and with neutral undertones. MAC describes it as a pale muted peach beige. The colour has a creamy shiny finish.
High Tea
The perfect goes with everything, wearable brown. High Tea is a beige brown. MAC describes it as a beige pink with small particle pearl. The colour is a little less pigmented but has an ultimate lustre creamy shiny finish (the shinest of them all).
Ruby Woo
I believe it to be the perfect red shade for anyone as the degree of blue undertone makes you look younger. Ruby Woo is a true red colour with slightly blue undertones. MAC describes it as a vivid brightly coral red. MAC's Russian Red shade is a little more deeper red shade. This colour has a matte finish. This is the only thing I don't like about it. Honestly it does look like nothing pretty in the tube but once swatched you can see the colour.
