Formula/ Texture:
This is a thin consistency and creamy texture. It does feel lightweight under the eyes. I feel that the thin consistency allows you to apply a lighter layer, avoiding creasing. I haven't found this to settle into any lines either. It's easy to apply with either a small synthetic brush or fingers. It is long lasting of 8hrs.
It has skin conditioners infused in the formula which I found interesting. I feel that the undereye area could also do with addition hydration so it doesn't dry out and form creases/wrinkles and those ugly dry patches of skin. The purpose of this corrector is to neutralise undereye darkness and is used before concealer. I defiantly feel that this does this well adding that youthful brightness. I apply this after foundation and before concealer.
Compared to the Laura Mercier Secret Concealer in it's full sized version, this feels more lightweight. It blends well. Longevity is the same. LM is a screw off lid, compared to a compact form. I found screw off products to be a little the consuming and prefer compacts that shut close easy. LM contains 2.2g worth of product compared to 1.4g from BB and is a dollar cheaper.
Honestly they are very similar to me. Based on quantity and money I'd prefer the LM.
Available:
From Myer & David Jones counters Mecca Cosmetica stores (meccacosmetica.com.au) and bobbibrown.com.au for $40 for 1.4g/0.05oz.
