YSL Teint Resist Foundation

Packaging:
Luze gold shiny mirror box. Frosted square glass foundation bottle with the same mirror shiny gold cap, engraved with the YSL logo. This foundation has a pump that works well, it's easy to use, no clogging, dispenses a small amount of product and doesn't squirt hard or in a stream like way. I find that I use 3-4 pumps as compared to the max 2 with other pump foundations.
Smell:
None.
Colour:

Colour:
04 Sand - light beige with warm/yellow undertones for light shades. Light-medium coverage with satin finish. Available in 8 shades. At the moment this shade is more of a summer colour for when I am tanner but it does work well mixed with my Revlon Colorstay foundation for the season transition periods.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thin, smooth runny consistency. It is very easy to apply and blend to the face with no issues with it 'sitting' on top of the skin. I've tried with fingers, Sigma Flat Top Kabuki brush and a Beauty Blender and all with no problems. It is also day to remove with a basic makeup wipe. It is very lightweight on the skin and is flexible in moving with face movements.
This is oil-free but it also contains SPF10. I've had no skin irritations, breakouts or sensitivity. Using a primer, it has a great longevity of 10hrs with no patchy, caking or fading. Any way I can get extra sun protection during the day is perfect. It does create a bit of a white cast in flash photography. It doesn't transfer onto clothing or crease.

I do set this foundation to give an more matte finish initially so by the end of the day when my natural oils come through there's a natural sheen. It leaves a satin finish on the skin. Different for me with my combination skin, especially in the summer but nothing I can't get used to. My skin actually feels very soft and almost velvety which I love!
I haven't noticed any dry skin nor any obvious hydration to my skin but I'm thinking it must have some hydrating benefits if it doesn't split/crack on parts of my face by the end of the day like Revlons' Colorstay does.
The luxe packaging adds that extra excitement in applying makeup. If you have drier to normal skin I do think you'll love this foundation as it'll add that bit extra moisture and sheen to the skin. If you lean more on the oily side of combination to oily skin types will probably find this finish to make the T-zone to noticeable.
