Lancome Hypnose Mascara

Packaging:
Silver shiny, mirror like reflective cardboard box with embossed rose. The mascara tube is a shiny black stretched out lengthwise hourglass. It has gold detailing at the top of the handle, base of the handle & on either 180 degree side of the handle with a rose 'Hypnose' & 'Lancome'. The wand is a thin wire brush which would typically help with lengthening the lashes.
Smell:
None.
Colour:
01 Black. Opaque pigmentation. Available in 3 shades.
Texture/ Formula:
The formula is very wet. It does transfer even if time is given for it to set. It's one of those mascaras that get better the older it is/ the longer it's been opened and exposed to the air. No flaking but does make my laser feel a tad stiff. It does take more effort to remove with a a basic makeup wipe.

I got this mascara for it's volume. This I did see this but no maxi volumising lashes of up to 6x like the claim is. You can apply two coats and get decent length, curl and volume but 3-4 coats I found my lashes sticking together in bunches. Not something I want. Ever. A precise and careful application does give that volume looked though. The curl held throughout the day.
This is the only thing that I dislike about this mascara. Taking care when applying it and little volume. It's a slow application mascara. It is a great all round mascara. It would be the perfect one to wear with a set of false lashes or for shorter lashes.
