Smashbox O-Glow Cheek Colour

Packaging:
Black matte box. Shiny white squeeze tube with a screw off lid and a 2mm wide tip. This cheek tint also has a plastic seal. Has a touch of pink to replicate a blush or glow. The packaging is defiantly travel and clean friendly.

Smell:
None.

Colour:
Clear gel that dries intune with the body's natural chemicals to your perfect blush shade as you can see from the pictures below is a sheer bright pink colour. Light coverage with a sheen finish.

Formula/ Texture:
It's a thick silicone consistency gel. It's easily absorbed into the skin. It leaves a bit of a stain on the cheek that is easily removed with a second makeup wipe. This gel consists of goji and berry C complex, ginkgo bilba & pomegranate seed for antioxidant protection. So it's going to help nourish the skin. I didn't find this to dry out my skin.

This gel is not a stain and more of a long wearing cheek colour. In this sense I don't feel that it stains as bad as Benefit Benetint does. The longevity is 10hrs which is increased by being topped by a powder product.

It is easy to apply and blend in with fingers which the warmth helps with the colour of the gel. A brush won't work the same. A small amount such as a pea sized goes a long way. It is best applied in a pea sized amount for both cheeks with either fingers or a brush but quickly in small areas. The picture below the pink colour is the gel.

The only thing I have comparable to this is Benefit Benetint. And this isn't that comparable. Benefit has a thinner consistency, still sheer in the colour but leaves a stain to the cheek. Smashbox O-Glow gives a natural flush but with a more natural finish.

I wasn't blown away by it, the colour matching ability was very interesting to watch but I don't think it's a necessity product. I think those who want something simple, light or natural looking will enjoy this. Others would find this 'ok'.

Available:
From Mecca Cosmetica, meccacosmetica.com.au for $34 for 15ml/0.5 fl.oz. I got mine from Sephora for US$28.
