Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer
Packaging:
Baby blue & gold foil box. Metallic baby blue plastic squeeze tube with a twist off cap & a fine point end. Great for travelling and easy to get final bits out as well as controlling how much primer you want out. Due to the size of the tube I don't feel like I get much product.
Smell:
None.
Colour:
None.
Colour:
In a high density, it's nude. It sheers out to a colourless gel. It doesn't add any visible tint to the eyelids.
There is 4 other variations of the eye primer available. Lemon Drop is more yellow based that neutralises tone on the eyelids. Candlelight is shimmery and adds this effect to shadows. Glitter Glue enhances glitter based shadows and locks them down to the lid to reduce fall out and creasing. Champagne intensifies colour for 24hr with a waterproof formula and a hint of a shimmery base.

Formula/Texture:
Smooth, thin primer that has more of a gel like consistency. It's lightweight, easy to apply and absorbed thanks to the paraben free and vitamin E. It has a surprising creamy feel to it but isn't tacky or sticky.
The smallest amount is needed for both lids which helps justify the price and now I can understand how the packaging doesn't feel like it comes with alot of product but it defiantly does. In terms of creasing- there was none. In terms of colour intensity & being long wearing- defiantly does the job on both counts.
It's also free of chemicals/ parabens/ sulfates etc so pretty much made up of the better stuff. It's good to know I'm not adding extra chemicals or things I don't need on my face.
In comparison to the Urban Decay Primer Potion I feel like they are very comparable. Click here for a full review. If anything I feel that the Too Faced is easier to apply more product making it a smidgen bit more long wearing.
When I go to repurchase honestly will be a tough decision. If neither are on sale or apart of a kit/ set that interests me, then I would most likely purchase the Too Faced based on the fact that there is a extra ounces of primer, a little bit more long wearing and nasty chemical filler free!!
Available:
From Mecca Cosmetica, meccacosmetica.com.au for $27 for 11g/0.35oz. I got mine from Sephora for US$20.
