Lancome Definicils High Definition Mascara

Packaging:
Silver shiny, mirror like reflective cardboard box and embossed rose. The mascara tube is a thin shiny black square with gold detailing at the top of the handle, base of the handle & the words with a rose on either 180 degree side of the handle 'Définicils' & 'Lancôme'. The wand is thin bristle brush.
Smell:
None.
Colour:
01 Black. Opaque pigmentation. Available in 4 colours.
Texture/ Formula:
This mascara formula is a little thick but still leans wet. It's one of those mascaras that get better the older it is/ the longer it's been opened and exposed to the air. I have found that it doesn't clump my lashes but alot of formula does collect on the tip of the wand. No flaking with this one due to the thicker formula. No stiff lashes. It does take more effort to remove with a a basic makeup wipe.
Im after a volume mascara for my naturally average length lashes. Definicils is great for separation or definition. Don't expect anything else. I knew this but still want to give it a try. I did get length that is obvious when I look down. There's no spider lash effect. My lashes didn't feel hydrated afterwards.
It's a great everyday natural look mascara or for someone who just wants to define their lashes then anything else.
