Lancome Hypnose Virtuose Divine Lasting Curves & Length Mascara

Packaging:
Silver shiny, mirror like reflective cardboard box with embossed rose. The mascara tube is a shiny black curved 'I'. It has gold detailing at the top of the slanted handle, base of the handle & on either 180 degree side of the handle with a rose 'Virtouse' & 'Lancome'. The wand is a plastic/bristle brush C-shaped.

01 Black Carat. Opaque pigmentation. Available in only this colour.

Texture/ Formula:
This mascara is wet in formula. It's one of those mascaras that get better the older it is/ the longer it's been opened and exposed to the air. Once this started to dry out after a month I did experience some flaking. It did make my lashes feel stiff. It does take more effort to remove with a a basic makeup wipe.

I am after a mascara that gives me volume for my naturally average length lashes. This mascara has no to little volume with some slight clumping. There is some degree of separation but not as much as Hypnose mascara. However this mascara gives a perfect curl that holds. The KeepCurl brush and Curl Guard apparently exclusive to Lancome, grasps each lash at it's root. The curl had a great longevity of 12hrs for me.

This would be perfect for the person with long lashes. Anyone else I think wouldn't enjoy it as much. I can't use it on it's own as it give me short stumpy lashes so I use it in conjunction with a more volumising mascara.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes.
