MAC Lipglass
I have a small collection of M.A.C Lipglasses and I wanted to share my thoughts on them.
Packaging:
Lipglasses come in a round tube that has a clear bottom to see the colour and amount left and a shiny black top where the built in doe foot applicator is. However in my experience the sponge doe foot applicator doesn't always guarante an even application to the lips. They have they M.A.C black writing in the bottom half of the tube.
Smell:
Vanilla.
Colour:
They are 29 permament colours with additional colours that may be released throughout the year in limited edition collections that are a few dollars more. Mostly they are opaque in their pigmentation but some may be more on the sheer side. The colours that I currently have are shown in the picture below. From left to right; Dreamy, Prrr, Pink Poodle & Lychee Luxe.
Texture/ Formula:
I find the lipglasses to be sticky. They do stay on the lips for a long while but I think that may be due to the fact that they are sticky and it's a little hard to shmack the lips together and move the gloss around. All the colours have an extremely shiny, glass like, juicy lips payoff. This reflects the 'glass' aspect of the product name. They do contain Jojoba Oil that softens and conditions lips.
Im not a fan of sticky lipglosses where a strand of hair can get caught in the lipgloss as leave a swipe line across the cheek but apart from that there is nothing wrong with these lipglasses. The packaging tube is apart of the Back-2-MAC program where 6 eligble packaging can be return to a M.A.C counter to be recycled in exchange for your choice in a lipstick. These lipglosses may be expensive but do last a long while, I'm talking months.
