Urban Decay Urban Spectrum Palette

Packaging:
A matte black square cardboard box that's no larger then the size of my hand. It has a bright rainbow raise chrome text and this truly pops. Inside is a similar sized mate black palette where the top is a case that slides off and is seperate to the bottom.

The lid has a filigree laser cut out detail along the side, a full sized to the rim mirror on the revise and is topped with a large raised jewelled 'UD' in the centre and palette name underneath in a spot shine gloss. The detail on this is amazing.

The bottom is a shiny deep chrome gunmetal plastic. It is the type of shiny material that picks up fingerprints. This is the same for the pan insert with printed silver shade names.

The 15 pans are small rectangles and put together with more care and precision then the Vice4 that I have. There is some weight to this palette and the seperate portions allows for easier and portable use. The height is quite tall as you can pop out the pan insert and repurpose the box and lid for something else. The insert doesn't pop out with banging it either. This is such a unique feature.

Protest - forest green with warm undertones and a gold shimmer finish
Junkie - deep aquamarine with cool undertones and a shimmer finish
Deepend - teal with cool undertones and a blue satin finish
Madness - ocean blue with cool undertones and micro blue shimmer finish
Evidence - deep royal blue with cool undertones and micro blue shimmer finish
Prank -  deep navy with cool undertones and micro blue shimmer finish
Omen - icy lavender with cool undertones and a shimmer finish
Flashback - purple with cool undertones and a shimmer finish
Voodoo - deep blue purple with warm undertones and a shimmer finish
Flatline - icy creamy pink with cool undertones and a shimmer finish
Bordello - light pink mauve with warm undertones and a shimmer finish
Backlash - hot pink with cool undertones and a shimmer finish
Daybreak - light peach brown with warm undertones and a shimmer finish
Burn - light brown with gold and orange shimmer, warm undertones and a shimmer finish
West - medium brown cool undertones and a shimmer finish

Opaque pigmentation with buildable coverage. There is a couple of warm tones but generally this palette has cool undertones.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a velvety and very smooth texture. The shadows glide onto the lid, with very little fall out with the shimmer shades with the most fall out. They are easily removed with a basic makeup wipe.

The formal doesn't cause any irritations to my eyes nor change the texture of them which is good.  These don't crease on me. Longevity on these shadows is amazing! I can get 12 hours without a primer even in humid, sweaty days and I feel like that's saying something.

Great pigmentation + long wearing + no creasing = worth it.

This palette has great range of deep blues and purples with some greens, a pink and neutral browns. I can agree some of these shades aren't for everyone or everyday use. I have very few blue or purple shades so I thought this would give me more opportunity to experiment. I also can't resist a hot pink! I'm glad I picked this up and I've gotten a lot of use out of it then I expected.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes. I have average length lashes that have a very slight natural curl to them, so I want a mascara that does it all- volume, length and curl. I always curl my lashes before mascara applicati...
