Laura Mercier Créme Smooth Lip Colour

Packaging:
Short and wide square black opaque plastic tube. On close inspection the only embellishment is a embossed black 'Laura Mercier' can me found on the side of the cap. The smooth finish does catch fingerprints. It feels lightweight but once the half length cap is removed, it feels cheap and bulky. Others the cap secures nicely on. The bullet is the standard shape with the slanted tip.

Smell/Taste:
None.

Colour:
Milky Way - light brown with cool undertones. Medium - full coverage with a satin finish. Buildable coverage. Available in 18 shades.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thin, creamy and smooth consistency. It applies evenly and easily from the bullet. It feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips. It removes easily with a basic makeup wipe.

There is no irritation, feathering, bleeding or dry lips. The creamy formula does transfer onto food and drink as expected. Actually, it feels somewhat moisturising in more of a tinted lipbalm way which is thanks to he olive oil and nourishing vitamin E.  I don't find it to settle into lip lines or skip, drag over the lips when being applied. It glides on and is easily smoothed with the lips are pressed together.

I can get 4 hour wear out of this which is decent. I think the packaging is a little plain but it's also fuss free. I did like this formula but not so much this shade, so I'd definitely interested to pick up a pink shade!

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes.
