Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

Packaging:
The palette comes in an old school style cardboard box that has pink diamond print with gold accents and a massive brown TF logo.

The palette is metal with a magnetic closure which I like. It's a deep brown colour and shaped into a typical chocolate bar palette which is fun complete with square block grooves. Inside the lid contains a mirror which takes up ¾ of the lid with a gold chocolate bar text.  The bottom is the 16 eyeshadows. The shade names are printed on a plastic oversheet. While it doesn't bother me, in a rush this has gotten in the way. I sit it up in the lid and refer to the shades that way if needed. 3 look Glamour Guide is also included.

The packaging is cute and creative! They used the whole candy bar/ chocolate theme throughout which I love cause it's consistent and unique in a draw full of palettes.

Formula/ Texture:
These are buttery and smooth powders. I did find the matte finish was a little stiffer and took more layering to get the pigmentations as shown in the pan and to blend out. The others blend beautifully. The only shade I get fall out with is Black Forest Truffle.

Even with a eyeshadow primer I do find these to fade and crease by the end of a 10hr day which makes me disappointed and nothing I expected. I hardly have eyeshadow crease on me, so no matter how much I applied/ long I waited for it to dry, I got the same results and I don't feel as though my eyelids are oily by any means. The matte finishes appeared faded more then the shimmer so it could be I'm not applying enough?

They are all easily removed with a basic makeup wipe. The only thing I know about the formulas is that it contains rich coca powder.  The shades are totally new for me which I'm getting used to using so admittedly I haven't been reaching it every day since I got it in America.

I defiantly think this is a great and versatile palette to have. It would be rated higher if it wasn't for the  creasing!

Available:
From Mecca Cosmetica stores, meccacosmetica.com.au for $65. I got mine in America from Sephora for US$46.
