Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask

Packaging:
Slim and long grey plastic squeeze tube with white text. The cap is blue with a decent sized opening. Great for travelling and can be cut open in order to get the remaining product out of.

Smell:
Fake plastic. Not very pleasing.

Colour:
Light grey with blue specks.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thick and smooth liquid with a tacky feel. A little effort is required to apply and spread over the face. You don't rub this into the skin and leave on for 5mins and rinse clean. It also means that it takes a little longer and more effort is required to remove this. I find a wash cloth great for this.

When applied it does have a warming sensation on the skin that last as long as the mask is on. Nothing uncomfortable just very unique. If you don't like feeling warm then you might enjoy this sensation. It doesn't make my skin dry out but not moisturised either.

The formula contains charcoal which is what drew me into trying this out. Charcoal is great at detoxifying and really drawing out impurities. This did a good job at that. Nothing that I was amazed by but the best most affordable charcoal mask I've found readily available.

I love that this is a quick mask so you can get it on and off asap. I do feel that the results might be amplified if it was left on longer especially with the warming element to really make sure tpores are deep cleaned.

Available:
From Priceline, chemists and discount department stores for $20 for 100ml/3.38 fl.oz.
