YSL Volume Effect Faux Cils Mascara

Image
Packaging: Two toned gold box that reflects the circular mascara mirror tube itself. Bottom half is more rose gold. The top where the handle is is seperated by a black YSL logo. The wand is wire with thickness . Smell: None. Colour: Very black. Opaque pigmentation. Available in 3 shades. Formula/ Texture: This is a dry formula. Lightweight on the lashes. Easy to remove with a basic makeup wipe. I've had no irritations, transferring and slight smudging on the lower lash line only (which is my only complaint). It has intense pigmentation and a unique formula that doesn't clump! I'm surprised about this compared to another YSL mascara I've tried. There is a triple film complex in the formula; one film for intensify, conditioning film for curve and finally a fixing film for long lasting hold. There are nylon fibres in the formula that add varying lengths to re-create a more natural voluminous look. I couldn't see these on ...

Smashbox O-Glow Cheek Colour

Image
Packaging: Black matte box. Shiny white squeeze tube with a screw off lid and a 2mm wide tip. This cheek tint also has a plastic seal. Has a touch of pink to replicate a blush or glow. The packaging is defiantly travel and clean friendly. Smell: None. Colour: Clear gel that dries intune with the body's natural chemicals to your perfect blush shade as you can see from the pictures below is a sheer bright pink colour. Light coverage with a sheen finish. Formula/ Texture: It's a thick silicone consistency gel. It's easily absorbed into the skin. It leaves a bit of a stain on the cheek that is easily removed with a second makeup wipe. This gel consists of goji and berry C complex, ginkgo bilba & pomegranate seed for antioxidant protection. So it's going to help nourish the skin. I didn't find this to dry out my skin. This gel is not a stain and more of a long wearing cheek colour. In this sense I don't feel that it stains as bad as ...

Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Complexion Primer Potion

Image
Packaging: Box has a silver foil writing & colour fades from purple to black, top to bottom. The tube is very similar to new packaged eye primer potion. There is the genie silver screw off top with a dark purple squeeze tube with silver text. The tip is fine and about 3mm wide. It feels as though is a decent amount of product in the tube that'll last a while. The tube can be cut open to get remaining product. Smell: None. Colour: Beige with pink undertones. This colour sheers out on the face and is undetectable. Formula/ Tetxure: This is a smooth thickish gel like consistency. It is non-greasy and easily absorbed. I've not had any sensitivity, irritations or breakouts from it. It's easy to apply with fingers and blend in. I feel that a normal amount of the primer just isn't quite enough to cover my face - unless it's the thickish like consistency that makes me think this? My skin did feel hydrated during and after it was worn. I ...

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Eye Primer

Image
Packaging: Baby blue & gold foil box. Metallic baby blue plastic squeeze tube with a twist off cap & a fine point end. Great for travelling and easy to get final bits out as well as controlling how much primer you want out. Due to the size of the tube I don't feel like I get much product. Smell: None. Colour: In a high density, it's nude. It sheers out to a colourless gel. It doesn't add any visible tint to the eyelids. There is 4 other variations of the eye primer available. Lemon Drop is more yellow based that neutralises tone on the eyelids. Candlelight is shimmery and adds this effect to shadows. Glitter Glue  enhances glitter based shadows and locks them down to the lid to reduce fall out and creasing. Champagne intensifies colour for 24hr with a waterproof formula and a hint of a shimmery base. Formula/Texture: Smooth, thin primer that has more of a gel like consistency. It's lightweight, easy to apply and absorbed th...
