John Frieda Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating for Darker Shades Shampoo & Conditioner

Packaging:
Both come in squeeze tubes with bottom caps. The shampoo has a glitter tinted plastic bottle which is good as you can see how much product is left. The conditioner tube tinted in a shiny opaque gold.

Smell:
Citrus, green & fresh with floral undertones.

Colour:
Shampoo is a light yellow colour while the conditioner is white.

Texture/Formula:
The shampoo is a runny gel like consistency while the conditioner is thicker and more of a cream consistency. This highlight activating range is supposed to highlight the blonde colour already in the hair without depositing any colour. The formula has honey and oatmeal extracts that help with the max blonde impact.

Also according to the John Frieda website "gently removes dulling build-up & residues that make blonde look dull & dark". Well I can say using this shampoo & conditioner did enhance my blonde tips in my hair that is still growing out from when I had been a dyed blonde 2 years ago. Nothing like a freshly dyed colour though. My hair did feel nourished as well.

I don't feel as though this is a must for blonde hair. I do feel like a purple shampoo is defiantly needed for blondes to liven up the colour. It's great to liven up colour treated hair.

Available:
From Priceline, pharmacies and discount department stores for $15 for 250ml.
