L'Oreal Glam Shine 6hr Gloss

Im on the search for a natural, nudeish looking lipgloss or lipstick that I can apply with any look, anywhere and it can look good and I wont need a mirror to apply it. My search started with this L'Oreal gloss as I thought it was the natural looking gloss out of the whole range.

Packaging:
The whole tube is hard plastic, with the built in doe-foot applicator at the end of the wand. However this doe foot is shaped in a way that I've never seen before. The actual doe-foot is tear drop shaped with the pointy end at the tip. And there is a hole in the middle of the applicator. Im not sure if this is to grab less or more product or to help with getting it in and out of the tube but it's the first I've seen. I haven't seen a difference in the application of the gloss.

Another thing is the nozzle/opening of the tube, it's very large. Maybe this is to accommodate the larger shaped doe foot but the plastic stopper must be tapered at the end because it seems to stop alot of lipgloss from coming out, resulting in multiple dips back into the tube to get the desired amount on the lips.

Smell/ Taste:
It smells like it tastes. It tastes funny, like manufactured lipgloss that has been pumped down a convey belt in some factory somewhere.

Colour:
300 Golden Tattoo - medium brown with silver flecks. Sheer pigmentation with a gloss finish. This colour has grown on me and looks particularly natural and less of a deep brown in summer with a tan. After the colour is worn off, your left with the silver flecks that isn't an attractive look. Available in 15 shades.

Texture/Formula:
It's thick and sticky gloss. It's hard to move around the lips and you can defiantly feel that you have something on your lips. It is easy to apply using the doe foot applicator, I just have an issue with  the stopper as it seems to stop alot of lipgloss from coming out, resulting in multiple dips back into the tube to get the desired amount on the lips.

It doesn't have great longevity. After sipping a drink or eating food, the gloss feels as though it has all wiped off the lips bar around the edges of the mouth, so kind of like a stain of gloss. The thing that lasts the longest is the glitter particles in the gloss. Now this can last 6hrs. It looks weird to have random bits of glitter on the lips.

It does have a brilliant shine though, I just don't care for sticky lip products. If you don't mind then you'll enjoy this.

Available:
From Priceline, pharmacies and discount department stores for $18.
