Ardell Faux Mink Lashes

Packaging:
Rectangle black and white thickly stripped cardboard box with a taller backing. The front has a window showing the size and style of lash and silver foil text. This is a step up and lux looking range from their standard range and the packaging reflects this. The lashes are house on a white plastic tray.

 Formula/ Texture:
The lashes are very soft and flexible, mimicking a natural lash. They look very real and life like to human lashes. The band is thin, flexible and very comfortable to wear.

Still easy to apply. As the band is more flexible I make sure to add extra glue on the ends so they're secured in place. The styles I have are;

#810 - dense multi length lash that are shorter on the inner and outer corners.
#811 - dense wispy lash that a denser and longer as they reach the outer corner.
#812 - light and wispy lash that are the longest in the middle.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes.
