Taste Empowered Hybrid Gel Foundation

Packaging:
Heavy, wide, stumpy round frosted glass jar with a shiny reflective gold lid. The screw off lid features a engraved 'tarte' text and a purple chevron pattern on the side. There is a product stopper that does get caught up in the lid when it's opened, so I'm not sure how effective that is.

Smell/Taste:
Foundation. Noted as a rose scent online.

Colour:
Light Sand - light skin with yellow undertones. Natural radiant finish with full coverage.
Available in 10 shades.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thick, creamy, smooth gel. It's easily applied and blended on the skin. It's comfortable on the skin with a slight feel to it. It is easily removed with a basic makeup wipe.

This is oil free and hasn't caused my skin any irritations or increased in pore size. There's flashback or  breakdown of product but I do notice a slight oxidation with this. It does contain hyaluronic acid that helps smooth the skin and any fine lines.

It has a cooling effect and is hypo allergenic, like a big drink of water for your skin. The full coverage does make redness, acne scars, dark spots and uneven skin tone. It does also remove around my mouth when I eat which becomes obvious that I have on makeup, especially as this is not my summer or winter shade so I have to be careful when I wear it.

I do enjoy this foundation, I wish it was easier to choose my shade. For some reason the online descriptions didn't appear to accurately match what I'd describe the shade as. Taste's shades has a more pink undertone to them too, so keep that in mind. My winter shade for example is two shades lighter.

Definitely worth checking out for those with combination skin as it has the coverage an hydration in one without over drying.

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes.
