MAC Contour & Sculpt Yourself Palette

Packaging:
Thick plastic rectangle palette with a clear lid and small white 'M.A.C' text, shiny black bottom, magnetic closure and sharp edges. The lid does provide a lot easier viewing of the pans inside. The powder pans are housed in the same shiny black plastic and are the same size as the permanent powder refill pans.

Same as the revamped MAC DIY palettes. It's basic but you don't need this to be any fancier. It feels sturdy especially for travel.

Smell/Taste:
None.

Colour:
Emphasise - off white with fine pearl. Satin finish
Peaches - pure peach. Sheertone finish
Trace Gold - gold with shimmer. Sheertone shimmer finish
Sculpt - soft taupe. Matte finish
Flour Power - soft bright pink. Satin finish
Sunbasque - gilded peach with pearl. Sheertone shimmer finish

Formula/ Texture:
This is an ultra fine and smooth powder. It is lightweight on the skin, with all of the shades applying and blending easily. I don't notice any fall out especially with the shimmer shades. They are easily removed with a basic makeup wipe.

These have a longevity of 5 hours, longer with a setting spray. There's no white cast or product breakdown with these which is awesome. I don't find them to oxidise, irritate my skin or increase pore size. The sheer tone finishes allow you to go more heavy handed in application but overall, these are quite buildable.

MAC powders have such a great overall quality and this pre made palette is no exception. Honestly it's such great value!

Packaging: Small clear tube with white screw lid with brush tip applicator. Smell: None. Colour: Ruby red colour. Light coverage/ sheer pigmentation with a natural finish. On the cheeks it is a lot more sheered out and is more pink looking. Texture/ Formula: This is a quite runny and thin. It absorbs and sinks into the skin quite quickly. So it must be applied onto one cheek at a time, blending it immediately. This is my first tint so I had a hard time adjusting to the application method as I ended up with blotches of tint that no powder could fix. A small amount goes a long way. I do use my fingers to apply this and the blending is easier then a brush. This does leave a slight stain on my fingertips. Benefit They're Real! Mascara

I got this sample size from The Champions of Bronze kit. Packaging: Shiny gunmetal wand handle with a gunmetal tube. The wand as long plastic bristles with a spiked ball at the end of it. This ball utilises the end of the mascara wand and reaches into the smaller lashes in the inner corner of the eye. Smell: Just the usual mascara smell. Colour: Black. Opaque pigmentation. Formula/ Texture: This is more of a wet mascara but with a really thin scraper that doesn't leave any clumps of mascara on the wand. It's a thinner wand which made applying it easy. I wasn't going through my lashes trying to separate my lashes and then add volume then back to separating a clump. Theres no flaking or transferring. It's is easily removed with makeup wipes. I have average length lashes that have a very slight natural curl to them, so I want a mascara that does it all- volume, length and curl. I always curl my lashes before mascara applicati...
