GlamGlow Flashmud Brightening Treatment
Heavy, palm sized smooth round metal jar with a plastic screw on lid. The jar has a orange and silver colour scheme. The lid features a silver star to match the silver embellishments. There is a product stopper that lifts out which can be either thrown away or kept. It feels considerably heavy and wide with not a lot of packaging wastage when you see how much product it holds. This could have something to do with keeping the natural ingredients/ acids fresh.
It comes in this X shaped orange cardboard box. The lid is a flap that lifts up, revealing the jar in a cradle from the cardboard, covered by another 'Hello Sexy' flap. I thought this was a unique way to present the jar and it was nice to have my sexiness reaffirmed!
This is a little larger jar size then the white supermud treatment mask.

Smell/Taste:
Citrus.
Colour:
Cream with brown flecks.
Formula/ Texture:
This is a lotion with fine grains. It is easily applied but your hands will need to be washed to remove excess product.
The formula has 3 levels that when combined give a brighter, more illuminate and even skin tone. The star ingredient is the White Birch Leaf Teaoxi. White birch leaf is known for it's brightening properties of natural battalion, betullinic and ellagic acid. No parabens, sulphates or phthalates in this either.
1st Level - White Energy which contains a fusion of ingredients (white wild rose flower, white wild lily bulb, white birch bark, white jasmine flower, white peony root and white tea leaf) that create a brighter look.
2nd Level - Flashlucent which contains 3 aspects that when combined, exfoliate the skin to help other ingredients really sink into the skin. The first aspect is the ingredients of white quartz and sugarcane lactic acid. The second aspect is what refined fine pumice and willow bark salicylic acid. The third aspect is sundried white blanche.
3rd Level - Reflectrum which is a blend of brightening ingredients to give the skin a more radiant and attractive appearance. These ingredients are acetyl glucosamine, niocinamide, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate and diamond photoluminescene.
A lot of words I know, but I love how open the company is in letting us know what the ingredients are actually doing. There is no sulphates, parabens or phthalates which means there's natural ingredients, that are serving a purpose. It's suitable for all skin types.
You use this for 3 consecutive days in the first round, then 2-3x per week. Apply the mask to dry skin, leave for at least 20mins and then wash off. It doesn't dry my combination skin out or cause any irritations.
After each day in the first round, I noticed a little bit of overall brightness or skin tone evenness. I'll update this after a months use to see if acne pigmentation is reduced as that's the reason why I wanted to try this. I am super impressed already though with the way my skin looks bright and with a natural glow with no makeup on. It's making me use less coverage based products.
Again it's too early to tell as to whether a vitamin C based serum will product same results.
Available:
From Mecca Cosmetica stores, meccacosmetica.com.au for $86 for 50g/1.7oz. I got mine in America from Sephora for US60.
