MAC Lipliner Edge to Edge & Ruby Woo

Packaging:
Typical pencil with a total matte black finish with silver text. It has a long tapered opaque cap. The pencil tip is fine and pointed. The end has the shade indicator which is a little off the actual colour so I wouldn't advise to rely on this.

Smell/Taste:
Standard wax liner.

Colour:
Edge To Edge - pink mauve with cool undertones. Pigmented with matte finish.
Ruby Woo - red with cool undertones. Pigmented with matte finish.
Released with 11 other shades into the permanent line up.

Formula/ Texture:
This is a thin, creamy but slightly stiff consistency. It glides on well with very little tugging or skipping at all. It feels lightweight and comfortable on the lips. It is easily removed with a basic makeup wipe.

I didn't experience any bleeding or feathering but I did use a clear/transparent lip liner. The top layer did transfer a bit onto food and drink. I don't find the formula to be hydrating or drying but as the formula is a littler stiffer these have a great longevity on the lips of 8-10hours. Layering other lip products on top is no issues as the liner is thin. The pencil is easy to sharpen too.

The pink is a great every day, goes with everything shade. The red does stain slightly but both add a great base for bolder lip colours. You can get precise application too for lining or defining the lips.
